GaussSoft Profit and Cost takes information from the ERP system and other transactional systems from multiple company-specified activities – human resources, clients, product lines, locations – and analyzes this data according to the profit and cost model of the company to generate the detail data of the period that will feed the historic data. The results for every process and the historic data are stored in a database from which decision-makers and analysts can consult the results using Radial Viewer.

GaussSoft Profit and Cost Modeling and Allocation Engine is a client/server program where the profit and cost model is built and the high-resolution allocation is run. A license of GaussSoft Profit and Cost can be located in a different machine for the modeling administrator to maintain the model, according to the changes of the organization or the profit and cost model criteria. The allocation process can be located in a different machine; also the data base server.

For a more precise allocation of the costs related with your personnel resources, GaussSoft provides Activity Report, which also allows you to control and monitoring your employees performance and dedication to activities and/or projects and clients.

The resulting report on profitability, value management, efficiency, EVA and other indicators defined in the model, for each product, customer, project or defined object is then available to the top executives in an easy-to-access, easy-to-understand picture.

GaussSoft ETL tools (including Doors and Importer) link the GaussSoft Profit and Cost into existing or new systems, making implementation fast and easy.
