Technical Requirements

Operating System
Clients require Windows® NT, 2000 Professional or XP Professional.  The database server can use any operating system.

Software Requirements: 

  1. Basic complex models can use:  Sybase® IQ 12, Sybase® ASE 13, SQL Server® 2000, Oracle® 7.3.X., 8.X, 9.X, IBM DB2® UDB 7.2 or higher, MySQL® 4.1.17.
  2. Medium complex models can use:  Sybase IQ 12, Sybase ASE 13, Oracle 7.3.X., 8.X, 9.X, IBM DB2 UDB 7.2 or higher).
  3. High complex models can use:  Sybase IQ 12. 

Hardware Requirements:
The Allocation Engine requires, depending on the model’s size and complexity, from 1GB up to 4 GB RAM, Pentium IV or Xeon processor with 2.8 GH, SCSI configuration (for complex models);100 MB disk space for installation, 32 bits platform, from 1 GB up to 4GB disk space for execution; access to a CD-ROM.
The Visualization and Reporting client version requires Pentium III processor or higher; 1GB RAM; 32 bits platform, 100MB disk space for installation, 1GB disk space for execution, with access to a CD-ROM.

Networking Requirements
The LAN for client-server architecture requires a speed of 100Mbps.
