TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Operating System Clients require Windows® NT, 2000 Professional, XP Professional, Vista Business or Vista Ultimate.  The database server can use any operating system.
The Web server requires Windows® 2003 Professional, NT or XP Professional or Linux Red Hat® 7.3.

Software Requirements The Data Base Server can use Sybase IQ® 12, Sybase ASE® 15, Sybase SQL Anywhere Studio® 10,  MS-SQL Server® 2000 and 2005; Oracle® 8.X and 9.X; DB2-UDB® 7.2 or higher, PostgreSQL® 7.2, Progress 9.1b® and MySql 5®.
The Web Server can use IBM HTTP Server (Apache), Oracle HTTP Server (Apache), Apache HTTP Server, Sun One WebServer, Sybase EAServer.
The Application Server can use J2EE-compliant software (for version 1.3) such as Websphere, Oracle IAS (Orion), IBM Websphere, Weblogic BEA, TomCat.
Browsers used for Web-based Report Viewing are Microsoft Internet Explorer® 5.5 or superior; Netscape® 7.1 or superior, Mozilla FireFox® 0.8 or superior, Mozilla® 1.8a4 or superior.

Hardware Requirements The user requires, depending on the model’s size and complexity, from 512MB up to 2 GB RAM, Pentium IV or Xeon processor with 2.8 GH, SCSI configuration (for complex models); 60 MB disk space for installation, from 1 GB up to 4GB disk space for execution; access to a CD-ROM. The Visualization and Reporting client version requires Pentium III processor or higher; 512MB RAM; 60MB disk space for installation, 200MB disk space for execution, with access to a CD-ROM.
The Web Server requires Pentium IV or Xeon processor with 2.8 GH, SCSI configuration; 2GB RAM; 40MB disk space for installation, 200MB disk space for execution, with access to a CD-ROM..

Networking Requirements The LAN for client-server architecture requires a speed of 100Mbps.
